Like another reviewer, I purchased this head because it looks like a sweet little girl and not a glamour type head. It came with no directions, though, about how to clean the face (removing makeup). And it also has to be held some while styling hair but our six year old has quickly figured out how to style and hold down. This was definitely her favorite Christmas gift and I recommend it to others. I feel the quality is better than some of the other "heads" on the market.
