Purchased the VLT100 last year for my Mini to compliment the new Alpine DVD head unit I purchased. I did it main for looks because I occasionally enter my car in shows and it added style but I have to admit it is an welcome safety addition. I now can see my dog lurking behind me as I am backing down the driveway. I think the picture quality is excellent and my installer commented that it was the best rear camera he had ever seen.
