We bought this for long road trips for our kids and us to enjoy. We just got back from 2,400 mile road trip and it worked like a charm. The screen is good, the sound is great and the buttons on the screen and player are easy to use.
My only issue, (not even all that big of a deal), is that the S-video connectors that are used to connect the screens to the player aren't the most stable connections. They work great and make it easy to place the screens and player anywhere you want, but they seemed to fall out somewhat easy. And my wife one time didn't have the cable connector lined up perfectly and bent the fragile pins. I had to meticulously straighten all the pins in order to use that connector again.
It is nice that it comes with an A/C adapter as well. I took the player and one screen out of the SUV and into our motel room one night. (kind of a pain because the screens don't stand up, but hey, it worked.
I would recommend this setup to anyone. It doesn't matter if you have 2 or 3 rows of seating in your vehicle, the long cables to the screens will reach anywhere and still leave the parents in control of the player itself. + See Full Customer Review |  |
